And so it begins

Most people come to New York City with a mission, or a purpose. Some people, who are clearly irresponsible, come to New York City with absolutely no idea, rhyme or reason to what they're going to do with themselves. Just pick up, leave everything behind, and end up in the big apple. WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?!... or better yet, what was I thinking? Yes, I am one of the select few who leave their comfort zone to explore new horizons, and just leave all that is routine behind. I've done so all my life. I suddenly moved to Vegas to be a show boy and ended up on a vocal scholarship program with non other than Seth Riggs, Michael Jackson's vocal coach, who later invited myself and a few others to his Ranch. When I was 19, I decided to randomly move to Miami Beach where I became a recording artist for a year for Sony Latin, then to Naples, where I taught at a performing arts school and met and taught up and coming recording artist Gabriel Solair. All these different adventures, but I feel like I've finally found a place I belong.

Growing up in a small town where all there is to do is get high, go cow tipping or get pregnant, naturally I am astonished by what this city has to offer. Yeah sure, you can still cow tip upstate, get high with the neighborhood degenerate, or have sex with a million people in months time, but there is something unexplainable about the energy that surrounds this great metropolitan city. I recently began watching 'Lost', and let me tell you, this island is very similar. The more I blog, the more you will understand what I mean by that.

I am starting this blog because my life is about to take a sharp turn for the better (fingers crossed). Before I turn 30 this coming year I will be launching a major website with a friend, and business partner I met 2 years ago. The journey I'm sure will be tough at times, but overall it will be very exciting. My entire life I had dreamed of one day taking care of my family financially, and by golly I think I'm going to finally be able to do it. So sit you're asses down folks, and strap your asses in, 'cause it's gonna be a bumpy ride!
